Jan 21 Blog: Introduction
Hello, my name is Chau. I am a sophomore majoring in computer science. I was born in Vietnam and have lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the past ten years. I enjoy playing music; I played a little piano and guitar. I also like to participate in culture clubs on campus to explore different cultures and meet new people.
I am taking this class because I took two years of Japanese in high school. I also plan to study abroad in Japan this summer, so I want to freshen up my skills. I enjoy the process of learning a new language and immersing myself in other cultures. I have been to Japan before, and I would love to learn and interact with locals.
Hi Chau-san! Studying abroad in Japan will be a blast! Fuse-sensei is teaching us lots of colloquial phrases alongside the textbook phrases. This surely will help you understand and chat with the locals. Hope you're enjoying the class so far!
ReplyDeleteThats super cool, one of my biggest regrets about college was not studying abroad. Im glad you are getting that chance!
